Certified divers enjoy guided dives on the outer reef with full support from the dive crew.
Evolution has perfectly designed 'outer wing' platforms, providing you with unequalled access to explore an underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef 10,000 years in the making. As a certified diver, you can buddy up and dive at your own pace. Evolution visits two reef sites during the reef tour. Book up to 3 scuba dives during the day!
There is also the opportunity to book a guided dive with one of our friendly and knowledgeable PADI Qualified Dive Instructors who will take you on a guided dive trail to see all the best spots.
Quick FAQs
- What is the difference between a certified dive and a guided dive?A certified dive involves diving with a second diver, referred to as a buddy. A guided dive is optional for all certified divers and is with one of our experienced Divemasters. It costs $10.
- For certified dives, do divers go in groups with a divemaster?With the certified dives it?s not compulsory to have a guide, but you are required to dive with a buddy.
- How much does a certified dive cost?A pre-booked dive is $80 and if booked on the day is $100, saving of $20! Subsequent dives are discounted and can be pre-booked or purchased on the day: 2nd dive $60pp, 3rd dive $45pp.
- If i am padi certified but forgot my card, can you look it up online?If you've forgotten your PADI certification card, we can look you up online prior to your date of travel. As long as you're in the PADI system we can get you diving!
